For the native hierarchy graphic set your block icon property in CFC to 3 and generate block icons. For the non-native hierarchy graphic (the copy), you have to copy the type 1 block icon from the @PCS7TypicalsAPLVx.pdl and use the dynamic wizard "Link Prototype to structure or rename existing link" to link the object to the correct structure tag for your VlvL. Then make sure you delete the "@" prefix from the "Type" object property under "System" so it does not get deleted by the compiler during next block icon generation. |

let me add on to the topic For the non-native hierarchy duplicated block icons 1. Manually the block icon 2. amend the "Type" under "System", to make it "Not the same" with the @PCS7typicalsxxx, by either adding random char or "@" or remove "@" sign. 3. Then, add Server prefix at the "Tag" under "System" , for e.g. "SERVER::PT123/Mon" Hope it is helpful.

The actual block, put it in T401 for auto generation during OS compilation. The duplicated block type 1 , manually placed in Tank farm overview, follow the guide in the above thread. |

But Block Icon autogenerates in Both Overview picture and T401 picture during compilation. |

It depends on the setting you configure. Refer to the picture attached. |

If you don't want to or can't change your global block icon hierarchy setting to be 0 included lower levels as shown by JazTai, don't forget you can also just turn off block icon generation for individual graphics, such as the overview. (Uncheck "Derive the block icons from plant hierarchy" from the graphic object properties). You will of course have to manually add and link all objects to this page if you make changes later since compiler will no longer process it for block icon creation. |
