Hi, I have formatted the SD memory card of my S300 PLC and when I plug it in the CPU of the PLC it stops and does not allow ethernet communication. But nevertheless, at removing the memory card from the CPU and restarting the PLC does allow me to connect to the CPU, only it does not allow me to record anything. What can I do so that it recognizes the SD memory and reactivates my PLC. Regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello DavidGo; What part number is that SD card you planned to use as load memory on your S7-300 CPU? And where did you try inserting it a S7-300 has no SD card slot... This article from the International Technical Support Hub on the forum gives you an idea if what type of memory cards can be used with a S7-300. Notice that no SD card is mentioned. In the attached file below you will find a list of MC or MMC that can be used with specific S7-300 CPUs and the part numbers for these S7-300 MCs and MMCs. If you are using a valid MMC and it has been formatted using Windows applications, it can no longer be used in a S7-300. There are no mechanism to restore the original Siemens formatting that I know of. This can only be done on a S7-1500 CPU for memory cards used with that family if CPUs.
