Hi, I am new to Siemens coming over from Allen Bradly. I have set up some function calls and blocks and everything is running fine in the machine, but I noticed that cross references are not properly following through. Can anyone explain why they don't show up and how to fix that? It makes debugging quite hard. Images - [snip] Image 1 - The bit I want to cross reference, an internal Valve.Work.Q.Out which is fed from a function block elsewhere Image 2 - The main issue of this thread - The cross reference of the bit from image 1, shows nothing but 2 reads. Theres no Write anywhere! Image 3 - The valve motion function block, which writes to the UDT Work.Q Image 4 - A cross reference on the work.q of that function block.... This cross reference actually works here. It shows the two reads from Image 2, but also the function block Write! Why does this Write not show up on image 2's cross reference :( Image 5 - Inside the valve motion function block, showing the actual line writing to the bit. Hi, I tried this just now, but it does not seem to fix the issue. I have added a zip with the images as an attachment for you here. I used imgur because I was unable to attach more than 1 image, but yes a zip solves that well Attachmentimages.zip (3 Downloads) |
