I have a problem an analog problem too I'am reading the analog output of a Siemens Micromaster 420 whish is 0mA to 20mA using "picture 1" and sending speed using "picture 2" and i made a simple HMI. Everything is fine however in the BACKWARD rotation i can't read the 0% to -100% speed cause of course the drive's output doesn't provide 0mA to -20mA, that i understand Is there a way by either logic, magic or the power of will that allows to invert the "speed reading in percent"(%MD8) value so i can read the -0% to -100% speed ? Sorry, couldn't add multiple attachments he he ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

A little bit of magic is required. Change speed scaling in the Micromaster, so 0 mA = -100%, 20 mA = 100%. Adjust the PLC code accordingly. |

It seems that Siemens doesn't believe in magic but only in bytes and bits |
