The SIBENCH is an optical measuring bench designed especially for use in exhaust gas testers. The volume concentration of the various gas components is determined on the basis of infrared absorption (NDIR).
Gas-filled detectors with the unmatched microflow sensors guarantee maximum selectivity and reproducibility in the measurement of CO, CO2, HC and NO (NDIR). In addition, electrochemical sensors can be used for measuring O2 and NO (as alternative to the measurement of NO with NDIR). A PTB test certificate is available in which the accuracy classes Class I (Ed. 91) and Class 0 (Ed. 98) are certified according to OIML R99.
The SIBENCH is available in the following versions:
2K-SIBENCH for CO, HC
3K-SIBENCH for CO, CO2, HC
4K-SIBENCH for CO, CO2, HC, NO
The four-component Sibench is equipped with an additional NDIR channel for NO. In comparison with the electrochemical NO sensor the NDIR measurement has an unlimited lifetime and a higher accuracy.
