Radar level measurement

Radar level measurement is non-contacting and low-maintenance. As well, our radar level measurement devices do not require any form of carrier medium and, the process environment (steam, pressure, dust or extreme temperatures) has practically no influence on measurement. Siemens offers a broad range of radar level measurement devices that are highly reliable and precise.

Complex application - simple solution

SITRANS LG200 is an advanced loop-powered, guided wave radar level transmitter for liquids, slurries, interface, and bulk solids with a dielectric constant (dK) range of 1.4 and higher, and applications with high temperatures and pressures.

Ultrasonic level measurement

Ultrasonic level measurement is a highly cost-effective solution for short- and long-range measurement, even under difficult environmental conditions such as vibrations and dust. Ultrasonic level measurement is a non-contacting technology used in numerous industrial areas to monitor and control the level of liquids, slurries and solids.

Gravimetric level measurement

Gravimetric measurement of level with SIWAREX weighing technology produces high-precision weight measurement results without any contact with the material. The weight of your product is correctly determined independently of the temperature, container shape, material density, shift in the center of gravity and agitators or the like. Bridging, heaped objects, hopper flow, foam, steam and dust have no effect on the gravimetric measurement.

Capacitance level measurement using advanced technology

Siemens is the industry leader in capacitance level measurement. Through the strategic use of advanced technologies — especially the unique Inverse Frequency Shift feature — Siemens guarantees reliable, high-precision measurements with excellent repeatability even in dusty, turbulent and steamy environments or in situations with material buildup.

Hydrostatic level measurement

The hydrostatic level measurement is a low-cost process for direct mounting or use with remote seals on tanks or containers. The P300 and DSIII gauge pressure transmitters are suitable for measurements on open containers; for closed containers, it is preferable to use the differential pressure transmitters of the DS III series. The low-cost alternative for non-corrosive liquids such as water/waste water is the SITRANS P MPS submersible sensor.
