RFID technology effortlessly handles information

At the primary line infeed
Card boxes arrive from the warehouse and are
put on a plate with the  RFID tag on the bottom.
The bar code label carries the package’s
relevant information, including material
tracking and handling data. The MOBY read/write
unit transfers all of this information to
the RFID tag.

In the cut filler storage area
Tobacco is transferred from the cut filler
silo to the bin filling station. MOBY
RFID technology controls the bin’s filling
level and weight. The MOBY tag on the bin’s
underside stores information about the tobacco’s
final weight and the blend code.
