Siemens provides a decentralized automation system for integrated control of all manufacturing processes. All components become part of a digital workflow via Profibus and Ethernet, and the resulting standardized interfaces make it easier to integrate new components and to reorganize existing plants.  Totally Integrated Automation in this environment first and foremost means maximum communications among all components, from production to packaging to palletization.

Case transport
Make/pack complexes are linked via elevators to a common case transport system, which transfers the cases to the palletizers.
