Explosibility of gases, vapors and liquids
We assess flammability and explosibility by the properties determined in accordance with DIN or CEN standards, for example flash point, ignition temperature, upper and lower explosive limits and limiting oxygen concentration. For designing explosion protection in the context of processing mixtures we determine the upper and lower explosive limits as the temperature range in which an explosive atmosphere occurs. We can determine the explosion constants KG and pmax up to 250°C and 100 bar.
