SITOP solar´s modularity makes it possible – design with certainty and save costs

Whichever photovoltaic equipment you are designing, our transformer-free string inverters will give you the best value for money possible. The SITOP solar adapts itself to your solar collectors, not the other way round. The reason for this is the modern construction which allows flexible and cost-effective adaptation to your solar collectors. Any master device can be extended by up to two slave devices if required. This avoids extra costs caused by overdesign, but still makes sure that you are doing your designing on the safe side. The SITOP solar select planning software helps you to find your optimal plant configuration.

Always profitable

The high efficiency of the inverter results in high cost effectiveness. Even in part load ranges, in other words during low solar radiation, the efficiency is extraordinarily high. Since both master and slave devices are fitted with their own MaximumPowerPoint-Tracker (MPP), different string lengths and photovoltaic generator set-ups prove no problem for optimal use of any solar radiation.

For practically any solar collector

Every module has a wide DC input range from 200 to 650 V DC at a maximum current of 10 A. This permits optimum adaptation to all conventional photovoltaic modules. We recommend SITOP solar T for solar fields with lower voltage or higher DC current.


Ideal for thin-film modules

The unique circuiting concept prevents capacitive leakage currents and negative potential differences that are particularly critical in the case of thin-film modules, as they accelerate corrosion and increase the degradation rate. Thanks to the solidly grounded negative poles the otherwise necessary equipotential bonding between the PV module frames on the roof is no longer required.


The first transformer-free inverter without electronic smog

A further advantage of the innovative inverter topology is the avoidance of 50 Hz fields, so-called electronic smog, via the solar generators. Measurements of the Fraunhofer Institute show that the electrical field is even weaker with SITOP solar than that produced by transformer devices.


Light and compact

All inverters are exceptionally light and compact thanks to our transformer-free engineering. This means that you will almost always find space for them, and they cut a good figure in their attractive plastic housing. They are very installation-friendly thanks to their low weight and easily accessible terminals under the connection cover.


Power monitoring for Europe

It is easy to set country-specific parameters for power input during initial commissioning on the display of the SITOP solar 2300 master device. Parameters are currently available for Germany, Austria, Switzerland , Italy and Spain. more information


Complete fittings

The compact master devices meets all requirements which can be made on a powerful inverter. An LED display shows you the current feed performance – similar to a meter disk. You can also show all current operating data on the display. The most important data created over the last 28 days is saved using the integrated data logger.


Visualization and monitoring for near or far

The data can be easily read out via the RS232 interface and analyzed on the PC with the SITOP solar log visualization software. This allows you to check the current status of your equipment from any remote location. Clear local visualization is made possible by the SITOP solar Data Collect monitoring device with touch display. Both the software and the supplementary device inform you by e-mail, fax or SMS if a particular operating condition occurs.
