When your application cannot under any circumstance tolerate a
24 V power failure, the Redundancy module provides additional security.
Using diodes, the add-on module disconnects two parallel SITOP power
supplies, protecting against worst-case scenarios. Should one defective
power supply affect another working power pack, the Redundancy module
guards against total loss of power. Failure of a single defective
power supply no longer compromises safe and uninterrupted supply
of 24 Volt power to your application
