Up to now:

	The medium voltage switchgear were installed in buildings with heating
	SICAM miniRTU could be used for the telecontrol since no particular environmental conditions were specified

Solution:

	The medium voltage switchgear is installed in containers without heating
	SIPLUS RIC is specified and thus suitable for use in the container for the extended temperature range

SMS Messages via Tetra-Funk

Project goal:	Broadcast of SMS Messages via Tetra-Funk

Up to now:

	One operator has to be present at the control center to handle the alarms from the Teleperm XP stations
	Therefore a second person has to be present (in fact 2 people for 24h a day) to care for the failures on site

Solution:

	The automation station Teleperm XP initiates up to 128 SMS messages
	SIPLUS RIC S7 broadcasts via TETRA-Funk SMS messages to preselected mobiles

Savings in the project:

Messages will be processed in SIMATIC-Manager in form of text-files and can easily be altered.

Savings during operation:

Only one operator necessary, as the SMS messages are broadcast in the whole plant via a mobile to the plant-operator.
