SIPLUS upmiter

In order to ensure dependable operation of SIPLUS devices supplied by the battery in conjunction with combustion engines, it is necessary to put in a SIPLUS upmiter power supply unit between the battery and the power supply clamps of the SIPLUS devices.

The SIPLUS upmiter encompasses two functions:

• The electronic voltage regulator ensures that a maximum of
  26V_dc is provided.
• The step-up transformer permits the automation system to continue operation during startup, even if voltage drops from the battery occur.
