Functionality

The completely modular SINAS software includes the following building blocks

the interface to sensors and to the lower level machine control system
autonomous positioning, independent of any additional infrastructure in the environment
flexible motion control with intelligent obstacle avoidance
easy installation, for example by automatic acquisition of a digital map of the environment
a great variety of powerful tools for installation, diagnosis and service
application specific modules, for example for cleaning robots (e.g. installation tools and statistical evaluation of the cleaning results).
