Product data in electronic form

Automatic data transfer from and to planning/design software minimizes potential sources of error and ensures merging of the disciplines of electrical planning and automation. The technical and business data as well as the dimension drawings of the SIMATIC Controllers are thus available on CD ROM (CAx data):

• Component data as per ECAD component standard with: 
  • General technical specifications
    (e.g., weight, degree of protection, assembly)
  • Connection instructions and
  • Commercial data
    (e.g., order numbers, prices, package quantity)
  • Completed by manufacturer-specific information
    (e.g., memory capacity, performance)
• Dimensioned drawings for CAD/CAE systems
  (front, side and top views, as well as isometric module view )
• Macros/macro libraries for module overview and control cabinet design.

The data can be exported in the following formats:
