Ultrasonic Proximity Switches in Miniature Format

The new SIMATIC PXS240 series of small, cubic proximity switches combines the popular design of photoelectric proximity switches with the robust object identification by means of ultrasound. The sensors are available in the compact K21 design for confined installation conditions.

The new sensors in the miniature format are intended for detection ranges from 25 to 400 mm or 20 to 250 mm. For different applications, the devices are available as thru-beam sensor, retro-reflective sensor or diffuse sensor.
