Object inspection
with SIMATIC MV220
Teaching in the models using one or more good parts
Inspecting an object using the features extracted during
teach-in
Inspection can be performed on stationary and moving objects
Inspection of the object supplies a good/bad statement in
accordance with the set threshold values
The results are output on two digital outputs:
- OK: Compliance
of the object with the saved model is better or equal to the set threshold value
- N_OK: Compliance of the object with the saved model is worse than or equal
to the set threshold
value
The control of very quick processes is possible thanks to
the short inspection time of the sensor (approx. 30 inspections per second)
Object inspection with SIMATIC
MV230
Training of models based on a Good object
Inspecting an object using the features extracted
during teach-in
Inspection of the object supplies a good/bad statement
in accordance with the set threshold values (Q-LIMIT)
Inspection results are output on two digital outputs:
- OK: Compatibility of the object with the saved model is greater than or equal
to the set threshold value
- N_OK: Compatibility of the object with the saved model is less than the set
threshold value
Outline inspection
with SIMATIC VS 110
Inspection similar as with a light barrier with transmitted
light and shadow image
Inspection start: either external, e.g. by a light barrier,
or by automatic triggering, i.e. the vision sensor automatically detects an object
in its field of vision.
Digital output of inspection result
Thanks to the small dimensions and trailable connecting cables,
the sensor head and lighting unit can also be mounted in moving systems.
Depending on object size, up to 25 reads per second with
transport speeds of up to 250 mm/sec.
Three sensor head versions for different object sizes
Object inspection with SIMATIC VS 120
Object inspection with incident light method: either shape
only, pattern only, or shape and pattern simultaneously
Inspection start: via interfaces such as digital I/Os, PROFIBUS
or PROFINET and Ethernet
Output of inspection result digitally or via PROFIBUS or
via PROFINET and Ethernet
Thanks to the small dimensions and trailable connecting cables,
the sensor head and lighting unit can also be mounted in moving systems.
Depending on object size, up to 20 reads per second (object-dependent)
Three sensor head versions with type of protection IP65
for different object and pattern sizes
Comprehensive features for system diagnostics, remote control
and process control through integration in HMI systems (e.g. WinCC)
