| High-speed drive with high-efficiency damping oscillation elements |
| Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) has added a high-speed version to its N-compact range of low voltage motors. Thanks to forced ventilation and special rotor design, the motor is suitable for the speed range up to 5000 rpm. The intelligent use of oscillation elements with excellent damping properties mechanically isolates the machine from the actual baseplate. This means that, despite the high motor speed, no additional structural provisions are necessary.

| Distributed frequency inverter for conveyor system applications |
| The Sinamics G120 series of inverters from Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) is being expanded with a distributed version with degree of protection IP65. The Sinamics G120D is characterized by its very flat type of construction, a uniform footprint and high degree of uniformity for power outputs from 0,75 to 7.5 kW. The distributed frequency inverter also features integrated safety functions which are outstanding in this power class. The inverter is primarily suitable for conveyor system applications such as those encountered in the automotive in-dustry.

| Regenerative Power Modules added to the Sinamics G120 range of frequency inverters |
| Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) has now added the PM250 and PM260 regenerative Power Modules to its Sinamics G120 range of frequency inverters.The current obtained from the regenerative operation of drives is returned to the power network. With a nominal voltage of 400 V, the PM250 in frame sizes C to F handles power outputs from 5.5 kW to 75 kW. The PM260 for 690 V is available in frame size D for 15 kW with a Class A input filter as an option.

| New version of the G120 frequency inverter for 690 V supplies |
| With the Sinamics G120 690 V, Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) will present for the first time a modular inverter with integral sinusoidal filter based on silicon-carbide technology. This version not only adds a device for 690 V supplies to the Sinamics range, but the same device covers outputs between 7.5 and 55 kW. The inverter has line-commutated regenerative feedback and is available with four different Safety Integrated functionalities as well as offering NAMUR-compliant communication via Profibus. The Sinamics G120 690 V thus offers comprehensive solution options for use in the chemicals industry.

| Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) is adding a converter for the food and beverages industry to its device "Siplus extreme" line of devices with high protection against external influences. The Siplus Converter F&B (food & beverages) in degree of protection IP65 has been specially designed for use in the wet area of the food and beverages industry and supports three-phase a.c. motor ratings of 0.25 to 1.5 kilowatts.
