| | Control unit for basic applications in the Sinamics frequency inverter system | The Basic Control Unit 240E from Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) extends the modular system of the Sinamics G120 series of frequency inverters.
The new control unit is optimized for standard applications. By combining it with the standard PM240 power unit or the regenerative PM250 power unit, the new control unit can be flexibly deployed for applications in the power range between 0.37 and 90 kW and for voltages between 380V and 480V.
The control units and the power units of the Sinamics G120 series of frequency inverters are designed as separate, exchangeable function units and can be combined to create an application-specific converter. The engineering functions and commissioning are performed as usual with the Sizer and Starter tools.
