Control Units CU240(x)

The Control Unit controls a motor using a range of different closed-loop control techniques. In addition to the closed-loop control, additional functions are available that can be adapted to the particular application by appropriately parameterizing them.

For SINAMICS G120, several Control Units with different functionality will be available. Siemens Industry extends the modular frequency inverter SINAMICS G120 by the basic control Unit (CU240E) for standard applications and by the PROFINET Control Unit (CU240S PN-F) for PROFINET with Safety Integrated. The differences can be classified as follows:
