Geared Motors with Mechanical Release Coupling

MOTOX-EHB (for suspended electric monorails) is an autonomous range of geared motors for suspended electric monorails. The special features of MOTOX-EHB geared motors include the integrated mechanical release coupling to decouple the transmission of force between the drive and the monorail system. A mechanical release coupling can be used, for example, for the following reasons:
To commission the system while it is being assembled before the electric power becomes available
To manually move or divert the trolley when a fault situation develops
To move the trolley using a chain conveyor system for steep positive and negative gradients
In addition to geared motors that are in compliance with VDI Directive 3643 (so-called C1 Standard, light load operation) the range also covers heavy load applications.
MOTOX-EHB geared motors are available as helical bevel and helical worm geared motors in 6 gear unit sizes. They are available in the power range up to 4 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 820 Nm.
