PROFINET Development Kit:
The development package for PROFINET field devices

The PROFINET Development Kit allows field device manufacturers to develop and market PROFINET field devices (I/O devices) more quickly. The kit consists of a CD and a Single License, which gives the license holder the right to both develop and produce one line of field device products.

The CD contains:

• A firmware stack in source code for PROFINET IO
• A user description of the PROFINET IO stack
• Comprehensive documentation and sample programs for a PROFINET IO device
• Comprehensive documentation and sample programs for a CPU 317-2 PN/DP, which can be used as test partner (IO controller)
