Assembly - test benches, electronic check out

Vehicle test and diagnostics systems in the assembly and EOL area face a variety of demanding requirements. Siemens also offers efficient and comprehensive solutions in this area-from module tests all the way up to complex vehicle test benches-and all from a single source.
ECOS - Electronic Check Out System
A state-of-the-art testing system today has to deliver more than just test functions. Along with test tasks, efficiency, user-friendliness and availability are important features that a test system must possess as a fixed component of an innovative and quality-oriented production system. With our ECOS testing system, we have developed a test system that fulfils these requirements.
Road simulation bench
To save on and replace costly and time-consuming road tests, Siemens has developed a road simulation test bench. The test bench allows higher-grade testing since it rules out disturbance variables such as weather and driving style.
Chassis adjustment bench
Siemens chassis adjustment benches are distinguished by precise SIDIS 3DCAM measurement technology, a reliable control unit and innovative system construction. This combination guarantees test benches that meet the growing requirements of automobile engineering.
Roller Test Bench
Siemens combination roller test benches cover the entire area of roller, brake, and ABS testing. High-speed trips up to 200kmh, uphill and downhill simulations, different brake and dynamic ABS tests, as well as out-of-balance measurements of the cardan shaft are enabled by high production quality as well as balance and vibration quality of the Siemens roller test benches. By taking account of special phonetic features, it is also possible to integrate noise measurements and infotainment functionalities.
CCT - Color Coded Triangulation
Siemens has revolutionized chassis measurement technology with the SIDIS 3DCAM. The chassis adjustment process, once an automobile is completed, has a tremendous effect on final handling characteristics, making it one of the most important unique selling points for automobile manufacturers.
