POF and PCF fiber-optic cables

Simple fiber-optic cabling for machine-level use is implemented with the new SC RJ connection system for polymer optical fiber and polymer cladded fiber. The SC RJ connectors can be assembled especially quickly and simply on-site. They are standardized for PROFINET so that devices of various manufacturers and be netwroked with each other.
Glass fiber-optic cables are used to establish optical network topologies covering long distances, while for shorter distances, plastic fiber optic cable made of light-conducting plastics (POF), or plastic covered glass fibers (PCF), are used.
Rugged standard cables for industrial use
POF fiber-optic cables up to 50 m in length
POF fiber-optic cables up to 50 m in length
Designed for Industry
  • Duplex cable for networks indoors and outdoors
  • Electrical isolation of PROFINET/Ethernet devices
  • Protection of the transmission path against electromagnetic interference
Various approvals
Certified for various applications, e.g for ships and offshore units, or for the American and Canadian market (UL listing such as OFN/OFNG for fiber-optic cables or CM/CMG for copper cables)
Simple installation of non-preassembled cables
Termination Kit for flexible mounting of connectors of PCF fiber-optic cables on site. Simple inspection of assembled connectors possible using a microscope
