Application

The Development Kit DK-5613 offers a simple method for integrating the PROFIBUS modules CP 5613 /A2/FO and CP 5614 /A2/FO into any operating system environment with a standard PCI slot. Drivers for Windows operating systems are included on the respective SIMATIC NET CD supplied with the CP 5613/14 hardware (see product description below). The kit contains the required source code including the descriptions in PDF format.

The CP 5613 /A2/FO and CP 5614 /A2/FO permit systems with standard PCI slot to be connected to PROFIBUS.

High-performance control tasks can be implemented using the CP 5613 /A2/FO and CP 5614 /A2/FO (Soft Control, Numeric Control, Robot Control).
