The technology packages
Each of these packages provides the complete functionality for the technology. For example, the Motion Control technology package provides all the functions for a precise positioning motion through to camming, the cyclic setpoint and actual value exchange with the drive, the position control, the calculation of the motion profile, the replacement or superimposition of motions, homing functions, encoder switchover, axis enables, status information, etc. In addition to the Motion Control technology package (including positioning, synchronous operation, cam), there are also packages for further technologies, such as temperature control.
