The system test center in Nuremberg - a benchmark for the industry

Our brand new system test center for large industrial and traction drive applications is one of the largest and the most modern of its kind, globally. We designed it to test complete AC and DC drive systems under simulated ambient and load conditions. This way critical situations the drive systems may encounter in their specific application can be anticipated and preventative measures taken before they are shipped. As a result costly downtimes become a rare event and maintenance requirements are reduced to a minimum.

With the start-up of the system test center the Competence-Center for Large Drives in Nuremberg is now complete. From now on our drive system components will be developed and manufactured as well as integrated and tested as a system in one location.
