Sm@rtLib HVAC :
Regulating and component modules for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems

Sm@rtLib HVAC is a WinCC Premium Add-on in the form of a block library of regulating and component modules for integrating applications in the fields of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems developed by the WinCC Specialist AGU.
These libraries are ideal for customers who already deploy SIMATIC components in their production facilities, which means that they can use this SIMATIC infrastructure to control the air conditioning components. This means that you can easily integrate S7-300 controllers in a WinCC application and reduce costs significantly. A CPU315 can be used in up to 50 process control technology locations with a CPU317 being used in up to 100.
Sm@rtLib-HVAC provides you with a library that many customers already deploy. Based on the process engineering basic library, this library offers additional options.

Functional range:

  • summer-winter compensation
  • winter drive
  • runtime meter
  • time switch program
  • blocking protection
  • closed loop controller
  • three-step controller
  • interconnected controller
  • splitrange (heating/cooling)
  • additional-exhaust-mixedair valve
  • valve control continous
  • valve control discontinous
  • weighted mean value
  • etc.

The library comprises function blocks for S7 controller, as well as faceplates and symbols for WinCC as ActiveX objects. The WinCC interface can be configured without programming knowledge by following menues, which reduces engineering efforts.
