The PP17-I PROFIsafe Push Button Panel is designed as a vertical-market
product for failsafe applications in the automotive industry in the
context of the
Safety Integrated automation concept. It offers a wide range of
features that you can use without needing any programming time and
effort.
| With the help of integrated PROFIsafe communication, you can deploy
the operator panel in failsafe operation with SIMATIC S7-416F-2
controllers for simple emergency stop applications. It is possible to
connect up to four two-channel emergency stop pushbuttons. The failsafe
operator panel also provides a simple diagnostic function. Diagnostics are
always active and, in the case of a fault, the system automatically
transfers them from the operator panel to the CPU and makes them available
in STEP 7.
