"Rolled straight"- MP-based Soft-PLC controls and visualizes Foil Winders
	Crooked winding does not exist at PSA. With an innovative automation concept, the young company is occupying a top spot in the world among machines for cutting and winding foils of all type. For the control and visualization, the company of Bitburg at the Eifel chose the combination of SIMATIC Multi Panel MP 370 with touchscreen and soft-PLC SIMATIC WinAC MP. This solution replaces the traditional hardware PLC with separate operator terminal. PSA is very satisfied with the easy change from the hardware PLC to the fully compatible WinAC MP soft-PLC and the interaction with the SIMATIC Multi Panel. The porting of the STEP 7 program turned out to be decidedly uncomplicated as well.
