Shaped Cables for AS-Interface
The Actuator-Sensor-Interface – the networking system for the lowest

– distinguishes itself as a result of the extremely simple installation.
The individual devices connected to the network are connected with one another
through the AS-Interface cable. This 2-conductor cable has a trapezoidal profile
so that connections with incorrect polarity are eliminated. Insulation piercing
technology is used to establish the connection. In this case, contact pins
pierce through the shaped AS-Interface cable and establish a reliable contact
to the two conductors. Cables neither have to be cut nor the insulation removed.
This means that AS-Interface devices can be connected in the shortest time.
Devices can also be replaced extremely quickly. |
