Slaves
Slaves are fitted with the AS-Interface electronics as well as connection options
for sensors and actuators; they can be used in the field or a control cabinet.
Slaves exchange data cyclically with a control module (master).
Up to 62 slaves can be connected to a single bus. Compact, distributed assemblies
are possible both in control cabinets and at machine level in the field, e.g.
with modules offering a high degree of protection. |
