Premiere at the lion works: AS Interface is implemented for the first time in the Peugeot Souchaux works.

AS Interface achieves 25% savings on door assembly line.

The assembly lines at the Sochaux works were modernized at the end of 1998. In the course of this project the door panel assembly was also automated and AS Interface implemented.

Perfect team: PROFIBUS DP & AS Interface
3 SIMATIC S7-300 controllers control the 6 conveyor systems and communicate using the PLC SIMATIC S7-400 via PROFIBUS DP. The PROFIBUS DP/AS Interface link ensures the transition to the lower I/O level.
