DP/AS-i LINKs Advanced
The
DP/AS-i LINKs Advanced are a PROFI- BUS DPV1-slave (according to EN 50 170) and
AS-i master (according to AS-i Spec. 3.0 according to EN 50 295 and IEC 62026-
2). This allows data to be transparently accessed on AS-Interface from PROFIBUS
DP. It is either available as single or double master and is therefore ideally
suited for distributed architectures and to connect an AS-Interface network to
higher-level bus systems.
Two versions of the DP/AS-i LINK Advanced are available:
Device with one AS-Interface segment (single master)
Device with two AS-Interface segments (double master)
