Preventing potential failures...

...with RAID1 configuration (mirror disks)

A RAID1 configuration brings further improvements as, in this case, all the data is saved by automatic mirroring to two hard disks in parallel.

All the user data is retained, even if one of the two drives fails. This redundant architecture offers the user the following advantages:

  • Reliable avoidance of data loss resulting from a hard disk failure, since it is extremely unlikely that both hard disks would fail at the same time.
  • The system remains operational even if one of the hard disks fails.
  • Data is automatically backed up without the need for additional activity on the part of the user.
  • "Auto Rebuild" automatically recreates the mirror system when a defective hard disk is replaced.
