Siemens provides a joystick actuator for operating the throttle valve or injection pump of combustion engines on test rigs.
The joystick actuator consists of the following components:
Three-phase servo motor (Type 1FT6), mounted with rack-and-pinion gear and inductive distance sensor
SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVE converter for cabinet installation, including technology module for digital position control
Local operating box with potentiometers for adapting to the joystick positioning distance
Set of power and signal cables between the converter and the servo motor, length 10 m (other lengths possible)
A traction and pressure-loadable Bowden cable is required for the mechanical connection between the actuator and the joystick. The Bowden cable is not included in delivery of the joystick actuator.
