SIDISmobil – Innovation through modularity

Even the base model has a 12.1 "TFT – XGA color display with touch screen, which displays service documents and can be used for training of workshop employees. It holds all necessary fundamental diagnostic functions and a full information system, but is very easy to handle with a weight of only about 3 kg (6.6 lb). Thanks to the modular SIDIS system it is expandable. Communication between SIDISmobil and the vehicle uses a cable-based or a wireless transmission, as desired. Even in its simplest configuration, SIDISmobil can diagnose faults and determine corrective measures, reset the service interval display, code vehicle keys and reprogram electronic control units.

Individually configurable

Because it is possible to retrofit SIDISmobil with a multimeter for current, voltage, resistance and diode testing and a digital oscilloscope for the evaluation of analog curves, SIDISmobil becomes a high – end solution in the area of vehicle diagnostic systems. Various processors, hard disks, memory sizes and interface are offered. The requirement for long service life is taken into consideration through upgrade and conversion options. This is why SIDISmobil will always remain up to date.

SIDISmobil for commercial vehicles: rugged and highly efficient

The SIDISmobil variant for commercial vehicles was specially developed for use in the truck workshop and for repairs in bad weather conditions: the robust casing is protected against water spray, the batteries can be changed while in operation, and communication between the diagnostic tester and the vehicles takes place via wireless transmission. The tester contains complete measurement capability which allows complex tests to be carried out on the spot. The docking station has a charging unit for the batteries and a CD / DVD drive for the up and download of data to the diagnostic system.
