| This is a pilot project in co-operation with the asanetwork GmbH and the Volkswagen AG. The prime aim of this project is to streamline work flow procedures in the workshop. The networking of the workshop and OEM customer service departments shortens reaction times and speeds up work processes. The results are shorter repair times because all data such as vehicle data, error description etc., need be entered only once and are subsequently available to all test systems. The manual entry of data in order forms and recording of the test results are a thing of the past. This saves time and also rules out data transfer errors.
Another service which is to the customers benefit is the fast information about the repair status at all times. When the customer calls, he can be told when his vehicle will be ready after a quick check on the computer.
This service is extendable if the dealer has his own Internet page. Then the customer can follow the progress of the repair to his vehicle in Internet by entering his order number similarly to present day practice with parcel services.
