Layout planning is used for producing the execution layout for a new system from the planning layout. The layout planning has now been converted almost completely in 3D. Using the most modern visualization systems, the planners from different facilities are in a position to combine and discuss their planning results using a common model. This produces the representation of the complete production system in a computer.
