CP 5614 A2

The CP 5614 A2 is a PCI card (Universal Key 5V/3.3V) with microprocessor that enables a SIMATIC PG/PC and PCs with PCI slot to be connected to PROFIBUS up to 12 Mbit/s. The CP can be either a DP master or a DP slave.
Two different PROFIBUS networks can then be connected in a hierarchic structure to a PC with a PROFIBUS card and data can be transferred between the two. With the CP 5614 A2 high-performance control tasks are supported on the PC.

• The appropriate OPC server and configuration tools are included in the scope of supply of the respective communication software
