The color sensor SIMATIC PXO is an all-purpose and easy-to-operate sensor with IO-Link interface, in a compact form factor for the identification of colors. It identifies objects of different colors and can therefore be employed in situations, where simple color sensors no longer suffice. An easy and convenient parameterization is assured by the integration into the STEP 7 configuration environment.

With the distance sensor SIMATIC PXO, even high-precision measuring tasks for the measuring of distances can be conveniently solved. With the IO-Link interface, all parameters are available in the central engineering system. Alternatively, an on-site commissioning can be easily carried out using two parameterization buttons.

The IO-Link master enables the easy integration of sensors and actuators from different vendors into the multifunctional, distributed I/O system SIMATIC ET 200S – at a total of four ports. The innovative IntelliTeach® function allows for a quick commissioning since all settings can be parameterized via the controller.

With the aid of the IO-Link field distributors, the potential of the IO-Link master can be utilized even better: Per module, up to 8 binary sensors can be attached to a port.
