Packing/unpacking machine

Packing/unpacking machine

High throughputs in beverage filling systems demand very much of packing technology. Packing and unpacking of the bottles must be executed trouble-free, at high speed and with precision.

Always at least one complete packing unit such as a case or tray is unpacked or packed. Unpacking and packing procedures are basically the same so that the machines are always implemented both as packing and unpacking machine.

These machines consist of a frame that can be fitted with packing heads of most different designs. The packing heads consist of a number of packing bells that take up the bottles or cans that correspond to the number and alignment of the bottles in the packing unit.

For packing, the bottles are held up on a bottle table, then separated in rows and fed into the packing machine. The packing head with the packing bells takes up the bottles from the table and transfers them into the available cases or boxes.

Depending on the requirements, packing/unpacking machines are designed as

  • Pulse packing/unpacking machines

  • Multi-packing/unpacking machines

  • Rotary packing/unpacking machines
