A combination of a switching element and a multi-code actuator makes this position switch tamper-proof, preventing a shutdown of security systems used for monitoring the position of doors, covers or safety guards.
With these devices, the switching element is attached to the door frame and the actuator on the protective door. In a secure state, when the protective door is closed, the actuator is located in the actuator head of the switch. When the door is opened, the actuator forces the positive opening of the NC contacts.
The new generation of safety position switches features a variety of new functions. ASIsafe is integrated in the housing, for example, and an optional LED display makes for more user friendliness.
