The PS791-1PRO is an external AC/DC power supply unit (10 W primary switched-mode regulator) with protection class IP 65 for the SCALANCE W-780PRO access points and W-740PRO client Modules. The high degree of efficiency results in a low heat generation and small voltage fluctuations can be bridged reliably. Worldwide implementation is achieved by the wide input range for the supply voltage.

For the SCALANCE W-786PRO product line separate power supply units are available for DC 9-32 V (PS791-2DC) and AC 100-240 V (PS791-2AC) in addition to power supply via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). They can be built into the SCALANCE W-786PRO.
