Design and functions

The KP300 Basic mono is equipped with a 3.6 inch FSTN- display offering a resolution of 240 x 80 pixels for the representation of less complex operating screens. It has10 freely configurable function keys. The keypad with the design of a mobile telephone keypad allows intuitive and fast entry of numbers and words.
The KP300 Basic mono is the ideal HMI-component for the small S7-1200 controller systems. It can be configured by using WinCC Basic (TIA Portal). The KP300 offers HMI basic functionality (alarms, trend curves, recipes) with 250 tags.
The color of backlight can be programmed (white, green, yellow or red) and assigned to individual alarms. The KP300 can thus also be used as an alternative to an alarm indicator lamp with no need for additional cabling, assigning I/Os and programming.
