Commercial Offset Presses
Commercial printing machines are rotary offset machines for multi-color and high-quality printing. They are working according to the offset printing principle, which as a planographic printing system is based on the physical repulsion of water and printing ink
Commercial presses are mainly used for pictorials, magazines and high-quality advertising material. The highest cost efficiency is achieved for print volumes of several thousand to several hundred thousand copies. Normally, commercial presses produce semi-manufactured products which are passed on to post-press machines for converting / finishing as cutting, binding, etc
The presses consist mainly of unwinders, infeed unit, printing units, dryer, cooling unit and folder. Options such as imprinter, web catcher, gumming units, perforation units and cross cutters can be added.
