Transport

Transport of the bottles or cans within a filling system is normally executed via flat-top chains from chrome nickel steel. Plastic belts are more and more used in new systems.

Depending on the individual requirements, these conveyor belts are designed in one or several lines and guarantee a safe and smooth transport of the units.

In the past, these belts were driven via shaft by one central geared motor. More and more, the trend goes in the direction of distributed drive technology, i.e. several geared motors with integrated frequency converter. One of the benefits of this solution is a clear reduction of cabling costs.
