BMW, Munich Replacement of the old feeder technology by the SIMOTION D Retrofit with PROFINET Plant components:
- Press line comprising four presses, implementation of load / unload feeders and transfer stations equipped with SIMOTION D
- Fast real-time connection of the feeder controllers via PROFINET with IRT in order to exchange I/O data for process synchronization
- Communication S7 to SIMOTION via PN/PN coupler
