Mechanical Universal Presses

Mechanical universal presses and servo presses are ideally suited to cutting, punching and forming small and medium-sized parts. Combined with individual, secondary cutting, transfer and compound tools, a wide field of application can be covered. Particular emphasis is placed on protecting expensive tools here, as well as recording and documenting production parameters, such as the capacity of the press and the way it is applied throughout the forming process.

In the case of smaller batch quantities, the PCBs are inserted into the press by hand. This leads to a situation where these presses are classified in one of the highest safety categories in accordance with EN61508 SIL 3 for protecting people and machinery, requiring a higher level safety control.
