Tube bending solution
The drive and automation technologies used on tube / wire bending machine are mainly concentrated on the exact positioning and coordinated traversing of electric and hydraulic axes. Tube / wire bending machines usually use three to four positioning axes. In most cases, the machines are loaded and unloaded manually. If this process is also automated, four to five handling axes are required additionally. Tube / wire bending machines are mainly characterized by the requirements placed on accuracy and reproducibility.
SIMOTION covers all properties required. For example, the gripper and bearing prism positions are freely calculated and automatically approached depending on the given tube length and bending calculated according to the nominal tube width. This is enabled by the SIMOTION functions "coupled motion" and "synchronized actions".
